I was admitted into the hospital late 2017early 2018 to try a very new medication that was still in trial phase but showing some promising results.

My doctor gave me a very small amount of Xolair, 1/8 of a dose of Xolair injection diluted with saline in my stomach.

Unfortunately for me it didn't work.

After the fist 24 hours I was sent home, shortly after day later I started reacting.

My reactions lasted a few weeks until it was out completely out of my system.

Was a very interesting month of treading lightly as to not become triggered and even in avoidance of triggers I still reacted.

It was supposed to be the "miracle medication" for me. It turned out to be a nightmare.

Lots of people with allergies and mast cell disease, MCAS are finding relief and a type remission with this medication. Its not a cure but for some its been life changing.
