By late September 2025, my story reached yet another climax. My infusion ran too fast, my body overloaded, and suddenly I was drowning from the inside out. My ankles swelled, my chest tightened, and every cough reminded me I was fighting for air.

I thought it might be my heart. I thought it might be the end. Instead, the diagnosis was fluid overload, a cruel irony, considering how often I battle dehydration.

Hospitalized again, I faced test after test. And yet, within that frightening chapter, there was light: my heart is still strong. My kidneys, though burdened, are fighting back. One kidney cleared of stones entirely; the other is less obstructed. It was proof that even when my body falters, it also finds a way to survive.
