2022–2024 – A Fragile Balance

After mold, I became both better and worse. Less fatigue, fewer rashes, fewer flares. I could shower without collapsing. I could sleep less, live more.

But food remained elusive. My world was still narrowed to brand-specific chicken, yogurt, and pears. And when pears disappeared from my tolerance list, my blood sugar suffered.

On August 28, 2024, a nephrologist confirmed what I had been saying for years: my body could no longer regulate blood sugar and stones had formed as a result.

I had also gained a new diagnosis, fibromyalgia.
